ReCARE®: Advanced Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) applied to Nutrology
The ReCARE® technology, developed by Visuri, can be used in the rehabilitation of patients with neurogenic dysphagia, contributing to a decrease in episodes of aspiration, a decrease in pharyngeal transit time, and the return of oral intake to individuals.
In addition, NMES increases patient tolerance to other treatments, as it reduces the incidence of nausea and regulates intestinal constipation.
